Jennifer Bou-yazbek

Jennifer is an articling student at Forum Law LLP. Prior to joining Forum Law LLP, Jennifer completed a Bachelor of Commerce with a Finance major at the University of Alberta in 2016. Before she decided to pursue a legal career, Jennifer gained valuable employment experience ranging from management and leadership skills to strong interpersonal and communication skills. Jennifer then attended University of Dundee in Scotland where she received her Bachelor of Laws degree (with Distinction) in 2021. Jennifer was one of the founding members and the treasurer of the Dundee University Canadian Law Society. The society aimed to promote Canadian Culture within the community, while also fostering a vibrant and supportive environment at the university to assist Canadian law students after their transition to the UK. Jennifer was also a member of the University of Dundee Mooting Society where she participated in various mooting competitions amongst law students. This participation strengthened her skills in legal research and analysis, oral advocacy, written communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Beyond her professional pursuits, Jennifer finds joy and fulfillment in various activities. She cherishes quality time spent with her family, appreciates nature and partakes in outdoor activities such as hiking and biking, and prioritized her well-being through regular workouts and yoga practice.
